Mike Butler is part of the exceptional customer support team at tastytrade and also co-hosts Options Trading Concepts LIVE, where he is joined by Nick Battista and Katie McGarrigle to tackle live YouTube chat questions in real time. He gained popularity on the network from his beginner series, Mike and his Whiteboard, and has since hosted Where Do I Start: Back in the Game and has been a key content contributor to several of the educational courses in the tastytrade Learn Center. He has also starred in various series about managing a trading portfolio, including Market Mindset, Trade Managers, and Everyday Trader.

Before joining tastytrade, Mike worked for a distribution company in the customer service department and worked his way up to managing two different support teams. He has learned everything he knows about trading options from tastytrade content and is living proof that one can go from not knowing what a “put” is to successfully managing a live account. He now trades in his own IRA account and follow page account, as well as managing his mom’s IRA account (it’s the least he could do!).

Mike is passionate about fitness and spends his free time finding sanctuary in the gym. He also loves snowboarding, wakeboarding, and most importantly, Asian food.
