Known to all of tastynation as “Dr. Data”, Michael Rechenthin is Head of Data Science at tastytrade and is most renowned for his weekly newsletter Cherry Picks, where you can get data-driven trade ideas right in your inbox. He can also be found pitching trade ideas to Tom and Tony on Trades from the Research Team LIVE with the rest of the research team.

Dr. Data boasts a whopping 20 years of professional trading experience including his financial research and time serving as a Market Maker on the floor of the Chicago Stock Exchange. He has his BS in Finance, MS in Computer Science and his PhD in Data Science and Machine Learning.
